Jolly Ann Davis, 87 of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away peacefully on November
28, 2024 surrounded by family and loved ones. She was a beloved mother, grand-
mother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all
who knew her. Jolly was born in Washington, Arkansas to Eliza Thomas and Edwin
Johnson.
She married Judge Davis on May 9, 1960 and together one child was born. She is
survived by her children, Jerry Davis, Jacqueline Thompson, Rickey Beavers, and
Diane Davis, one step-daughter, Joyce Thompson, eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven
great-grandchildren, one brother Clarence Johnson, and a special niece, Sylvia Papion,
three God-daugters, Sandra Stewart, Beverly Smith, Connie Barnes, and a special friend,
Rosie Giffen. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Eliza Thomas and Edwin
Johnson, one son, Van Davis, one grandson, Corte Beavers, three sisters, Callie, Mattie,
and Josephine.
Funeral Services, 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December, 2024, Disciples of Love Ministeries,
924 East 14th Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114.
Interment: Rest In Peace Cemetery, Hensley, Arkansas
