Freddie Lee Epperson, Sr. age 65, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. He was born on September 30, 1959 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to James Joseph Epperson and Annette Elizabeth Christopher.
Freddie was a father, a beloved grandfather, great grandfather and a cherished friend. He was known for his sense of humor and talent for singing gospel.
He is survived by his children: Jennifer Epperson-Wimberly (Spencer), Freddie L. Epperson, Jr. Corey Epperson, and Timothy Cornice. Siblings: Joseph Epperson (Mary), Carolyn Bennett (George), and Carl Edward Wilson (Summer). He will be remembered with love by his loving partner of 7 years, Katherine Brinkley, his aunts: Dorothy Sims, Millie Sims, Velma Sims, uncles, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, great grandnieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Jeffrey Lee Sims and Willie Mae Willingham-Sims, as well as a beloved daughter, Nicole Hutchinson.
A celebration of his life will be held 11:00 a.m., August 9, 2025 at Smith Chapel Missionary Baptist Church,3006 South Kentucky Street, PineBluff, Arkansas 71601. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM.
