Freddie Lee Epperson, Sr. age 65, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. He was born on September 30, 1959 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to James Joseph Epperson and Annette Elizabeth Sims.
Freddie was a father, a beloved grandfather, and a cherished friend. He was known for his sense of humor, love for cooking, and talent for singing gospel.
He is survived by his children: Jennifer Epperson-Wimberly, Freddie L. Epperson, Jr. Corey Epperson, and Timothy Cornice. Siblings: Joseph Epperson, Carolyn Bennett, and Carl Edward Wilson. He will be remembered with love by his partner of 7 years, Katherine Brinkley. He also has a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved daughter, Nicole Hutchinson.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Smith Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, Arkansas at 11:00AM. Visitation will be held one hour before the funeral.
