Emmitt J. Martin

Emmitt J. Martin, 95 of Scott, Arkansas departed this life, Sunday, December 31,

2023.  He is survived by five loving children, one daughter, Ramona Hill of Kerr,

Arkansas, four sons, Erik (Stephanie) Martin of Scott, Arkansas, Lavert (Joyce)

Martin of Maumelle, Arkansas, Reggie (Brenda) Martin, and Kevin (Gayle) Martin 

of Kerr, Arkansas; twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, and

three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Booker T. (Deola) Martin of Kerr,

Arkansas; and a host of nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.

He served in the United States Army and fought in the Korean War during his

tour of duty.  He retired from Central Arkansas Transit after 34 years of 

service.

Funeral Services, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 6, 2024, Pinnacle Church

of Christ, 1 Shackleford Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211.  Family Hour

6-7 p.m., Friday, Hubble Memorial Chapel.  Funeral services entrusted to
