Cecile Emmaline Rounsavall, 99 of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away
September 7, 2023. She was born in Austin, Arkansas on September 7, 1924.
Cecile was a homemaker and employed as an Avon Representative for 50
years, affectionally known by friends and family as "The Avon Lady" who made
everyone smell and look good. Cecile was a faithful member of the Westpark
Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses who enjoyed sharing the good news of
God's Kingdom to all. Cecile loved people and never met a stranger, always
having a story to share. She cherished time with family and friends and will be
greatly missed. An avid gardener, she enjoyed working in her yard, and outdoor
time including fishing at the lake with her husband and walking in her neighborhood
even during her elderly years.
Ms. Rounsavall was preceded in death by her husband, James Cecil Rounsavall,
one son, Steven Rounsavall, and parents, William and Clara Harkins. She is
survived by her children, Teresa Daves (Dalton), James W. Rounsavall (Fran), one
sister-in-law, Nancy Pavone, daughter-in-law, Judy Rounsavall of North Carolina,
one brother-in-law, Fred Rounsavall (Johnnie Fay); three grandchildren, Carrie
Rounsavall, James Rounsavall (Tina), Leah Daves, three great-grandchildren, Kyle
Osborne (McKinley) Paige and Clay Rounsavall; two great-great-grandchildren,
Victor and Zannah Osborne; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
The family would like to express appreciation to Dr. Michael Berry and his nursing
staff along with all caregivers involved in her care. A special thanks to Westpark
Congregation for their love and support over the years.
